Cloudlike Has Landed at Over The Hook — Come and Have a Squish

Right then. Gather round, yarn lovers — Adie here, your resident yarn-peddler, fibre-enabler, and general purveyor of soft things you absolutely do not need but will definitely buy anyway.

Today's excitement is all about Cloudlike, Stylecraft's newest super-chunky delight. And let me tell you — this stuff is ridiculously soft. I picked up a ball and genuinely had a moment. The kind where you stare into the middle distance and question whether you've ever truly known comfort before. It's like someone took a cloud, whispered sweet nothings to it, and gently air-blew it into yarn form.

First touch, and you're emotionally compromised. You've been warned.

Why Cloudlike Is Causing a Stir

Cloudlike is made with air-blown fibres — a fancy way of saying it's soft enough to make you consider cancelling plans just to stay home and knit. It's warm but not heavy, fluffy but not messy, and the colours are those gentle, calming shades that make you feel like you've got your life together even if you absolutely haven't.

It's been flying off the shelves here at Over The Hook. I've seen that look in people's eyes: the "I'm making something cosy and no one can stop me" look. Terrifying. Inspiring. Beautiful.

And because it's super chunky with 200 metres per 100g ball, it goes surprisingly far — ideal if you love a big project but also love not remortgaging your house for yarn. (Relatable.)

What I'm Making First

I've decided: I'm going for the poncho. It feels right. A poncho is basically a socially acceptable blanket you can wear in public, and Cloudlike is the perfect yarn for that level of comfort-meets-style.

With the drape this yarn gives, I fully expect to look like a windswept woodland wizard. A stylish one. A wizard who moisturises.
